DESCRIPTION: A leaf curl caused by a tiny aphid. The aphid themselves are shiny and light green to yellow in colour with a slight orange hue around the base of the abdominal tubes. The gall itself sees both sides of each affected leaf curl under and turn a blotchy yellow. DISTRIBUTION: A potentially common species that is under-recorded throughout. HABITAT: On the leaves of Gardenia and Wild Privet. |
